Which One Is Better Squidoo Or Hub Pages?
The net is full of social networking blogspots and communities, but two of the top out there are Hub Pages and Squidoo. Both of these social Journal networks seem to have an excessive benefit when it comes to placement favorably with the search engines. Along with Word Press, Ezine Articles, and of course Google Blogger, these two communities can get located almost instantly. The issue is not whether they are useful forms of promotion but rather, which one delivers the most damaging blow?
Hub Pages is a community for writers, bloggers, or anyone wanting to reveal something interesting with the printed word. Your blogs at Hub Pages are recognized as hubs. You can choose from certain modules to develop the appearance and creativity of your hubs. Hub Pages allows you to add your adsense, amazon, and Ebay ID to you hubs to make proceeds from everyone who clicks or buys from your links. You can also add keywords to your hubs to make it simpler for the search engines to find you.
Squidoo is also a community for writers and very comparable to Hubpages. The key difference between the two is that Squidoo refers to its pages as lens. Just like Hub Pages, you can build limitless lens on any subject while making additional proceeds from adsense, amazon, and Ebay.
Squidoo is very Google responsive and permits you to include up to 40 keywords to your lens to increase your search engine position. As you can observe, these two powerhouse, high pr social communities share several parallel characteristics; So what are the dissimilarities?
The differences start with the revenue from your proceeds modules. Squidoo has a joint earning policy which divides the total profit between the whole Squidoo community depending on the status of your lens. The higher your lens rank, the larger portion of the income you collect. Hub Pages on the other hand allows you to keep 100% of your income from adsense, amazon, and Ebay.
Another difference are the guidelines and policies. Hub pages is extremely stern on self promotion or over advertising of affiliate products. They will ban you quickly if your intent is to only provide content for the exclusive purpose of spamming. Squidoo also frowns spammers, but they are more welcoming to internet marketers who are interested in creating lens to promote their affiliate products or services. I guess you can say that Squidoo provides you a wider freedom of speech. Hub Pages also does not allow adult content.
Squidoo has recently stiffen their policies on the types of lens that they will allow. Examples of lens that use to be normal that are no longer suitable are: Lenses on mature content, medicinal miracle cures, and lenses with more than 9 links to the exact web page. If you can reach giant squid prominence (50 lenses) than these policy may be waived.
Both Squidoo and Hub Pages offer a place for like minded individuals to bring their visions, thoughts, products or artistic expressions to the internet. The question of which one packs the most damaging punch in my judgment, can only be left up to every individual. I personally use both. Since both communities are without charge to sign up and free to socialize, I find it that it makes sense not to show favoritism. The choice between one over the next would be the equivalent of leaving money on the table.
Squidoo and Hub Pages are great tools for getting visitors and raising your search engine positioning. For more info on dominating search engines, you can go to organic seo.
