One of the most important things about making your website successful is understanding how to stick out from all the other millions of sites on the internet and how people will find you.

Both internet newbies and experts alike soon learn about search engines. Google, yahoo and ask are now so popular and used that they are some of the most valuable properties on the internet, not to mention the real life value of these companies.

While it is actually easy to use a search engine, as easy as visiting the site and typing in what you need and then bang, your request returns millions of choices. So what’s the main ABC’s of internet marketing, well that easy, KEY WORDS.

To sort thru websites the major search engines use a number of factors, they search the net and then break down every website into words. Or to be more exact key words or phrases. For instance if someone searches xxxx gold a website that mentions xxxx gold 6 times is going to rank higher than websites that mention it once.

Key Words Work

It is a proven fact that this method of writing works for instance if you want to target mini calculators mention it 5 times on your sale page and you will slowly but surely jump the listings

The real trick to using key words is to use them so they look real. Because if you just throw them in without much thought the search engines will know. If they tag you as a keyword spammer you will be punished. Just remember you want humans, search engines are a means to a goal.

You Want People TO !

Before you fill your page with your product be sure to remember that a search engine has never bought a thing. Real people buy and there is nothing worse then loosing customers because they can’t understand what you wrote.

Spend your Valuable time learning the ABC’s of internet marketing and it wont be long before you start to get some return for your effort. But remember you may have a product people cant live without but if nobody can find it you will go BROKE.

A couple of years ago, there was quite a stir on the internet over some free videos released by Andy Jenkins and Brad Fallon called Going Natural about Search Engine Optimization.

Going Natural was basically some videos showing how a couple of web sites selling wedding favors were pulling in about $16,000. a day by organic search. They also showed scientific studies how pay per click (PPC) ads only gets a fraction of the traffic and clicks received versus sites which appear in the top 3 positions of organic search results.

The videos were hyped by many established internet marketers with a combined mailing list of over 940,000 people. Even the Rick Jerk was getting into the action, taking credit for Andy Jenkins and Brad Fallon’s success by claiming that he taught them much of what they know which has made them successful. The video series and hype continued for the entire month of September 2006 with a new free video being released about once a week.

This was butterfly marketing at it’s finest! And the cliff hanger was the scheduled opening of a new membership network called StomperNet, where members could learn SEO (Search Engine Optimization) Secrets revealing how among other things to get their sites in the coveted top positions of the big 3 search engines; MSN, Yahoo and Google. But the price.. everyone wondered how much this membership would cost?

I thought it would probably be something reasonable.. about $97.00 per month. Well, about a day before the grand opening, the price was finally revealed.. a whopping $797 per month! Wow, I could hardly believe such a high price for membership. That’s about what most people spends a month for their house payment!

What was even more unbelievable was emails I received on the day of the grand opening from Andy Jenkins indicating that when StomperNet went online, they had 50 people join in the first 30 seconds and that the membership was sold out in a matter of hours. It was reported that this was one of the most successful debuts of a new web site in the history of the internet garnering a Alexa traffic rank of 134 on the day the site opened - 10/3/06.

You don’t have to pay $797 a month to learn about SEO methods.
